Art Photographers was founded by Scott Joshua Dere in 1998. Now in 2007, he has an established busniess and office in Cedarhurst, New York. The company is known for hiring out the finest photographers and Videographers at reasonable rates. It has finally been recognized for incredibly fantastic Photography capturing those precious moments in life, specializing in Digital Imaging in the fields of :

Christopher Scavone, a School of Visual Arts graduate, who specializes in fashion photography and has been published in Hampton Magazine, and Spanish Vogue. He has been a valued asset to Art Photographers since the very beginning.

Scott Joshua Dere was born and raised in Cedarhurst, NY is still residing locally. He has an Associates degree in Media Communications from Nassau Community College and a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the School of Visual Arts (SVA). He has studied under some of the most famous Photographers and Printers throughout his college career. Including interning with National Geographic Photographer Ted Schiffman in Africa, and Printing with Sid Kaplan,Jerry Vezusso at School of Visual Arts. In fifteen years of schooling and working with many companies and photographers, Scott has become master of his field in Developing, Printing, Digital Enhancement and Art History.

Scott is also has expertise with all types of lighting and camera equipment. He is fully knowledgeable about all types of digital imaging equipment and computer programs (Mac or PC), relating to his field including Photoshop, Illustrator, Quark, Flash, Dreamweaver, and Studio Master. He worked for Canon ITS for a while and became fluent in their equipment and programs.

Besides his love of photography Scott is interested in extreme sports like Snowboarding and mountain biking. Scott loves to travel. He has been on Safari in Kenya, and Tanzania, cruised around Alaska, and photographed British Columbia, Alberta, Canada, Colorado, Utah, Montana,Idaho Wyoming, Nevada, Arizona, California and Mexico. Scott is always taking advantage of the outdoors, even doing Pre-Shoots at the beach and park as well as many other outdoor locations. Scott has driven the East Coast from Maine to Florida, and visited St. Maarten in the Caribbean. He spent a lot of time in Europe. Particularly Italy, where he traveled the land extensively shooting pictures and studying Art.
